Amazon will launch NFT marketplace in April - the service will launch with 15 NFT collections

A few months ago, it was revealed that online retailer Amazon was preparing to launch its own marketplace where users could sell and buy NFTs. We don't have long to wait.

Here's What We Know

The service is called Amazon Digital Marketplace. As we can see, they decided not to rack their brains over the name. The site will be launched on April 24, 2023 in the U.S., and over time will be available in other countries, including Europe.

To buy non-exchangeable tokens, you need to create an Amazon account. Payment is made with a bank card. This will do without connecting cryptocurrency wallets to the platform.

At launch, Amazon will offer customers 15 NFT collections. However, the platform is hosted on a platform that is not compatible with Ethereum. As such, NFT developers who want to sell tokens on Amazon Digital Marketplace will have to resort to using tools to transfer tokens between different networks.
