NVIDIA has closed its office in russia and is terminating the agreement with employees who refuse to leave the country
The American company NVIDIA six months later after the termination of sales in Russia has decided to leave the Russian market.
Here's What We Know
About a week after Russia's widespread invasion of Ukraine, NVIDIA announced the suspension of sales in the Russian market. In mid-summer, the Californian giant began refusing Russian firms to renew and sell licenses for cloud gaming software. This decision complicated the functioning of supercomputers for a number of companies, including Yandex and MTS, because they require A100 and DXG-2 chips.
Now NVIDIA completely leaves the Russian market. The American manufacturer has closed its office, where the number of employees decreased from 300 to 240 people since February 2022. However, the company is ready to move specialists to other countries. With all employees who refuse to relocate, NVIDIA will terminate the agreement.
