Ming-Chi Kuo: Apple sold between 160,000 and 180,000 Vision Pro units in the first few days of pre-orders
Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared sales statistics of Apple Vision Pro helmet.
Here's What We Know
According to Kuo, Apple sold between 160,000 and 180,000 Vision Pro units in the first weekend of pre-orders. As previously predicted, the Vision Pro sold out as soon as pre-orders opened, and delivery times for all models increased to 5-7 weeks within hours. Despite this, delivery times remained unchanged after 48 hours of pre-orders opening. This may indicate a rapid decline in demand.

However, Apple is still able to sell 500,000 Vision Pro units this year. Kuo believes that it's important for Apple to monitor demand in different markets and update apps for the device. With a large fan base (over 1.2 billion), even a small percentage (0.007%) of users ready to buy the new product could lead to a sell-out of the gadget. By the way, the analyst says that Vision Pro will be a niche product for now.
