Insider: Apple will connect the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max notches with software and include privacy indicators, camera and Face ID sensors
It has been repeatedly reported online that Apple will add dual-cut screens to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. As it turned out, the company decided to merge them into one big one with software.
Here's What We Know
This was reported by our colleagues at MacRumors. The rumor was also confirmed by insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman. On such an elongated notch they will place a front camera, sensors for Face ID technology, as well as a green and yellow privacy indicator. Recall, they are now displayed in the upper right corner of the iPhone.
By the way, together with the new iPhones Apple is going to show the updated "Camera" application. The interface of the program will be optimized for the cut.
This is true. It looks like one wide pill shaped cutout. Having that separation would look odd during use. https://t.co/SrAtYQsENx
