It's official: MediaTek to unveil new flagship Dimensity 9200+ processor on May 10

MediaTek has announced the launch date for its new top-of-the-line Dimensity processor.

We are talking about the Dimensity 9200+ chip. It will be an improved version of Dimensity 9200. The new chip will be unveiled in a fortnight - on May 10. The event will be held in China.

The main difference of the Dimensity 9200+ will be the increased clock frequency of the Prime Cortex-X2 core to 3.35 GHz. For comparison, the Dimensity 9200 will have a maximum clock speed of 3.05GHz. The novelty will also have three 3.00GHz Cortex-A715 cores, four 2.00GHz Cortex-A510 cores and Immortalis-G715 MC11 graphics.

According to leaks, devices based on the Dimensity 9200+ chip will be able to Smartphones powered by the Dimensity 9200+ will be able to score 1.35 million points on AnTuTu, matching the top-performing flagships with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
