Huawei prepares MatePad Air tablet with slim body and Snapdragon 888 processor

In addition to the global launch on 9 May, Huawei is also set to hold another event in China.

According to the manufacturer's official teaser on Weibo, the presentation will take place on May 18. New MatePad tablets are expected to be shown at the event. One of the new products will be the MatePad Air.

According to rumours, the gadget will get a slim body. The novelty will be equipped with an 8200 mAh battery with 40W fast charging support, as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The device will come in two versions: with Wi-Fi and LTE. The tablet should have a 10-11 inch display and cost around $450.
