Announcement close: Mobvoi begins teasing the TicWatch Pro 5 smartwatch with Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chip on board
We've written more than once that Mobvoi is preparing to release the TicWatch Pro 5 smartwatch. It looks like the release of the new product is just around the corner.
Here's What We Know
The manufacturer has published a teaser of the device on social media and on its official website. Unfortunately, there is no announcement date for the watch yet. Most likely, the gadget will be revealed in late May or early June.
According to the leaks, the TicWatch Pro 5 will be the first smartwatch on the market to be powered by the new Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chip. The novelty will also be equipped with 2GB RAM, 32GB ROM, a dual 1.43″ screen and an OLED matrix. On a single charge, the gadget will be able to run for up to 80 hours in normal mode and up to 45 days in Essential Mode. The device will support fast charging - from 0 to 65% in 30 minutes.
The TicWatch Pro 5 will also be equipped with two control buttons, Gorilla Glass, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi, GPS, and various sensors to monitor health indicators. The watch will support over 100 sport modes.
