Bloomberg confirms: iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will get larger displays
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, in his traditional weekly Power On report, has shared new information about the upcoming iPhone 16 smartphone range.
Here's What We Know
So, he confirms earlier information that the devices will get larger displays. But we're only talking about the older iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models.
Earlier, display expert Ross Young said that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max displays will increase by 0.2 inches: from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches and from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches. Meanwhile, the regular iPhone 16 will remain the same size.
According to Mark Gurman, this change will make Apple's smartphones more competitive compared to similar devices offered by Samsung. Also, the bigger the display - the more space inside the case for improved hardware (like a new camera and a higher capacity battery).
