Rumour: Pixel Watch 2 gets improved battery life and runs on new Snapdragon chip
At the beginning of May, it was reported online that Google was working on the Pixel Watch 2. Now our colleagues at 9to5google have shared some details about the new product.
Here's What We Know
So, according to the leak, the Pixel Watch 2 will get the same design as the original model, but will have improved features. The watch will boast of an upgraded processor. We're talking about the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 or Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chip. Thanks to this, the gadget will get a significant performance boost as well as increased battery life.
Apart from the new processor, the Pixel Watch 2 will also be equipped with various sensors to track health indicators. The leak says that these will be the same sensors as the Fitbit Sense 2 smartwatch.
When We Can Expect It
The Pixel Watch 2 release shouldn't be expected anytime soon. The watch should be announced along with the Pixel 8 smartphone lineup this fall.
