Samsung Galaxy F54 5G will be the first F-series smartphone to receive 4 major Android OS updates

Samsung continues to improve its device update policy. The Korean manufacturer recently expanded support for its flagships and A-series devices, and is now also looking to update Galaxy F smartphones longer.

According to our colleagues at SamMobile, the first F-series smartphone to receive OS updates for 4 years will be the Galaxy F54 5G. The novelty will hit the market with Android 13. That means the device will definitely be updated to Android 14, Android 15, Android 16 and Android 17. The company also plans to release security patches for the device within 5 years.

Incidentally, the Samsung Galaxy F54 5G will be released in India on June 6. The novelty will get a 120Hz AMOLED screen, Exynos 1380 processor, 6000mAh battery with 25W charging, and a triple main camera with a 108MP main sensor.
