Apple is already working on MacBook Air notebook with M3 chip - Bloomberg
It's been just under a week since Apple unveiled its MacBook Air laptop with a 15.3-inch display and M2 chip, and the company is already working on a new model.
Here's What We Know
According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple is already developing 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models with the M3 chip. But expect them before 2024 for sure.
The current 13-inch MacBook Air was announced in June 2022, while the 15-inch model was announced a week ago. Both feature M2 processors. The M3 chip is expected to have the same number of processor cores and GPU as the M2 chip, except that it will be built on TSMC's 3nm process technology, which will result in significantly improved performance and power efficiency.
Mark Gurman reports that in addition, new iMac models and 13-inch MacBook Pro with M3 chip are in development. The new iMac is expected to be unveiled by early next year.
