6.17" display, Tensor G3 chip, 50 MP camera and Android 14: Insider reveals details of Google Pixel 8 compact flagship
We've written more than once that Google is working on a range of Pixel 8 smartphones. Now, thanks to insider @heyitsyogesh, detailed specs and the approximate price of the base model of the series have surfaced online.
Here's What We Know
So, the Pixel 8 will get an OLED matrix display. The panel will have FHD+ resolution, 120Hz picture refresh rate, 6.17-inch diagonal and a built-in fingerprint scanner. The gadget should be powered by the proprietary Tensor G3 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage.

There will be three cameras: a dual 50MP main camera (Samsung GN2 with OIS) + 12MP wide-angle lens, and a single 11MP front-facing one. The smartphone will also pack a 4,485mAh battery with 24W wired charging and 12W wireless charging. The smartphone will come with Android 14 operating system.
Price & When We Can Expect It
If the leak is to be believed, the Pixel 8 will be unveiled in early October. The gadget will cost $649-699.
