It's official: Sony will unveil its new flagship TWS earbuds, WF-1000XM5, on July 24
Sony, after months of rumours and leaks, has revealed the launch date for its new flagship TWS earphones.

We are talking about Sony WF-1000XM5. According to the manufacturer's official invitation, the headphones will be shown at an event on 24 July. That is, on the following Monday.

According to rumours and leaks, the Sony WF-1000XM5 will get a slightly updated look. The headphones will hit the market in two colours: Silver and Black. The device will feature 8.4mm Dynamic X drivers and two proprietary chips. The headphones will also have an increased number of microphones. They will be responsible for the active noise cancellation (ANC) feature. The headphones will get HiRes Audio support, DSEE Extreme technology and IPX4 protection against water droplets and sweat. The novelty will become lighter and more compact. Sony WF-1000XM5 will connect to smartphones and other devices via Bluetooth 5.3. The battery life of the device will be up to 24 hours (with a case). As for the price, it will be around $300.
