Google Pixel Watch 2 appeared in Google Play Console: unannounced smartwatch specs are known
The closer we get to autumn and the presentation of the new Google Pixel Watch 2 - the more details about the second generation of Google's smart watch appear. This time the product page appeared on the Google Play Console platform, which revealed some characteristics of the device.
Here's What We Know
The Pixel Watch 2 is codenamed "eos" and has a design almost identical to its predecessor. It's a round screen with a resolution of 384×384 pixels and a single crown button on the side for control. It's likely to be the same 1.2-inch OLED display.
As expected, Google is ditching Exynos in favour of Qualcomm and its Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 (SW5100) chipset. The processor will be paired with 2GB of RAM. Apart from this, the Pixel Watch 2 will get Android 13, presumably with Wear OS 4 on top.
According to previous leaks, the watch will also feature a slightly larger 306mAh battery and will support ultra-wideband (UWB) connectivity.
Google is expected to unveil the Pixel Watch 2 in autumn alongside the new Pixel 8 flagships.
