Sony Xperia 5 V with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and Android 13 passed the performance test in Geekbench 6

Sony will unveil the Xperia 5 V flagship smartphone this week. A few days before the announcement, it was tested in Geekbench 6.1.

Here's What We Know

The smartphone has the model number XQ-DE54. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and runs the Android 13 operating system. The test passed the version equipped with 8 GB of RAM.

The result in Single-Core mode is 2004 points, while in Multi-Core the Sony Xperia 5 V model was able to score 5059 points. The scores are on par with other smartphones that are equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

The price of the Sony Xperia 5 V has not been specified. Last week, the company confirmed that the official unveiling will take place on 1 September 2023.
