Not just the iPhone 15: Apple could unveil AirPods headphones with USB-C at its September presentation

Apple has announced that it will hold its traditional autumn presentation on 12 September. According to numerous leaks, this event is expected to premiere four smartphones of the iPhone 15 lineup, Watch Series 9 smart watch and Watch Ultra of the second generation. But, as it turned out, Apple may be preparing another novelty.

Here's What We Know

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman predicts that wireless headphones AirPods will also debut on 12 September. And it will be the first model to feature a USB-C port for charging.

Rumours that Apple will introduce AirPods with a USB-C compatible charging case have been circulating for months, but we haven't heard anything more definitive until now. Even now, Mark didn't give any details, he didn't even specify the model of the headphones - whether it will be regular AirPods or the Pro version.

However, we already know for sure that all smartphones of the iPhone 15 line will switch to USB-C port. We'll find out more details on 12 September.
