Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor

Details about Samsung's new budget tablet, the Galaxy Tab A9, continue to emerge on the internet.

Here's What We Know

According to a new report, the novelty will be running the MediaTek Helio G99 processor. For comparison, the Galaxy Tab A7 features a weaker MediaTek MT8768 chip. The new SoC has eight cores, Mali-G57 MP2 garfish and a maximum clock speed of 2.2 GHz.

As for other specs, they will include a 5,100 mAh battery with 15W charging, a 5G modem and an 8-inch display.

When We Can Expect It

Unfortunately, there is no announcement date for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 yet. Perhaps the novelty will be shown in October or November.
