LG and Meta will create the next-generation $2000 Quest Pro virtual reality headset

Meta has entered into a co-operation agreement with LG. The South Korean company will help develop the next-generation Quest Pro virtual reality headset.

Here's What We Know

The new VR-headset will be equipped with screens manufactured by LG and components of its subsidiaries. In particular, we are talking about the LG Energy battery. The supplier of other components will be LG Innotek.

The current generation Meta Quest Pro came on the market at a price of $1500, but over time the price has dropped by $500. The next-generation headset will be called Meta Quest 4 Pro. It will appear in 2025 and will cost $2000.

In addition, the American company plans to release a VR-headset of the budget segment. But LG will not take part in its creation. It will appear in 2024 and will cost up to $200. For comparison, Meta Quest 3 will appear in autumn for $500,
