Insider: OnePlus Open foldable smartphone will debut on October 19
We have already written more than once that OnePlus is going to present its first foldable smartphone. Now thanks to an insider on the Internet appeared the date of the announcement of the novelty.

According to @MaxJmb, the release of OnePlus Open will take place in a month - 19 October. By the way, initially the novelty was supposed to show at the end of August, but due to the replacement of the display supplier, the event was postponed.

As for the specs of the OnePlus Open, the smartphone will feature two displays: a 7.8-inch main display with 2K resolution and a 6.3-inch secondary display. Both panels will have an AMOLED matrix with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The OnePlus Open should be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The gadget will be powered by a 4,800mAh battery with 67W charging. The smartphone will hit the market with OxygenOS Fold interface based on Android 13. OnePlus Open pricing is not available yet.
