Samsung Galaxy A55 may get a proprietary Exynos 1480 mobile processor with AMD graphics and a 50MP camera
Samsung is preparing for the presentation of a mid-range smartphone Galaxy A55. The premiere of the model is expected in early spring next year.

According to new information, the South Korean company has begun testing the Samsung Galaxy A55 with a proprietary mobile processor, which has the model number S5E8845. The chip is expected to be called Exynos 1480, as the Exynos 1280 and Exynos 1380 have the numbers S5E8825 and S5E8835 respectively.
The key feature of the Exynos 1480 could be AMD graphics. Earlier, there were reports that Samsung is working with the US company to integrate the red giant's graphics core into Exynos mobile platforms.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 is also expected to get a 50MP camera, which is used in the Galaxy A54. There is no further information about the smartphone.
