Google is working on a device codenamed Comet, it could be the company's new foldable smartphone
Google unveiled its first foldable smartphone, the Pixel Fold, in the spring and is now working on a new model.
Here's What We Know
The information was shared by our colleagues from 9to5Google. They noticed in the code of the Google Pixel Buds app the name of an unknown device - Comet. For example, the Pixel 8 is codenamed Shiba and the Pixel 8 Pro is codenamed Husky. The Pixel 9 smartphones are called Komodo and Caiman. Therefore, we can assume that we are talking about a successor to the Pixel Fold or a completely new model. For example, it could be the Pixel Flip.
Unfortunately, there are no details about the gadget yet. It is also unknown when the release of the novelty will take place. It is accurate to say that the smartphone will not show this year.
