Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 competitor: an insider has revealed the specs of MediaTek's flagship Dimensity 9300 chip

We have already written many times that MediaTek is working on a new top-of-the-line Dimensity 9300 chipset. Now, thanks to an insider, the SoC specifications have appeared on the Internet.

Here's What We Know

The novelty will compete with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The chip will get eight cores with a layout of 1+3+4 and the following structure: one core ARM Cortex X4 Prime, three ARM Cortex X4 and four ARM Cortex A720. What is interesting is that all eight cores will be productive.

The maximum clock speed of the chip will be 3.25 GHz. The SoC will be built on a 4-nanometre process. If the leaks are to be believed, Dimensity 9300 will be 15% more productive and 40% more energy efficient than the current flagship model of the chip.

When We Can Expect It

MediaTek Dimensity 9300 release should take place already this month. There is no exact date of presentation yet.
