Bloomberg: Apple Vision Pro headset not yet ready for launch, sales to start around March
Apple unveiled its first mixed reality headset, the Vision Pro, in June this year. But it was only an announcement. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports that it is not yet ready for sales.
Here's What We Know
Apple initially noted that Apple Vision Pro sales would start in early 2024, but did not specify a specific timeline. The headset was expected to go on sale in January. However, Mark Gurman claims that the novelty will be delayed by several months. The company is still preparing plans for the distribution of the product and conducting testing.
According to his information, Apple Vision Pro will be available around March. Initially, the gadget will be launched in the US, and later in 2024 - in other countries around the world. Apple is expected to sell the device by appointment only at its retail and online shops, meaning third-party sellers will not have the Apple Vision Pro.
Apple will likely hold another event before the final launch to further demonstrate the headset and some of its features.
