Xiaomi will release a global version of HyperOS operating system based on Android 14 for the Redmi Note 12 4G

Two smartphones Redmi Note last generation will soon receive HyperOS. This became known to the Chinese publication GSMChina.

Here's What We Know

In the middle of this year, Xiaomi will open the HyperOS beta testing programme for the Redmi Note 12 4G and the version with NFC. The software is numbered OS1.0.1.0.UMTMIXM and OS1.0.1.1.0.UMGMIXM respectively. The MI symbols mean that this is the global version of the software.

The Chinese company introduced HyperOS more than a month ago along with the flagship smartphones of the Xiaomi 14 family. The manufacturer positions the software as an operating system, although formally it is only a firmware based on Android 14.
