Samsung is gearing up for a big presentation where the Galaxy S24 smartphones will be announced. The next Galaxy Unpacked is about a month away, and more information about the upcoming new products is appearing on the internet.

According to new information, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will be able to shoot videos in 8K ULTRA HD with 5x optical zoom without loss of quality. For this purpose, the smartphone will be equipped with a 50 MP telephoto lens.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra features two 10 MP telephoto lenses. The optical zoom multiples are 3x and 10x. However, when recording video in 8K UHD format, it uses not optical, but digital zoom.
The next-generation smartphones will be unveiled on 17 January 2024. During 2024, Samsung wants to sell 13.5 million, 5.8 million and 15.9 million Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra models respectively.
