Samsung Galaxy A55 with Exynos 1480 processor tested in Geekbench
A yet-to-be-announced Samsung smartphone has appeared in the Geekbench performance test database.
Here's What We Know
We are talking about the Galaxy A55 model (successor to the Galaxy A54). According to the leak, the gadget will be powered by the Exynos S5E8845 processor. This is the model number of the new Exynos 1480 chip.

The Galaxy A55 scores 1,180 points in the single-core test and 3,536 points in the multi-core test. In comparison, the Galaxy A54 scores 1108 and 2797 points respectively. If you believe the rumours, Exynos 1480 will be an eight-core chip with a maximum clock speed of 2.75 GHz. The new product will get Xclipse 530 graphics with AMD architecture.
As for other Galaxy A55 specs, they should include a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50 MP camera and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W or 45W charging.
When We Can Expect It
Expect a Galaxy A55 release in the near future is not worth waiting for. The novelty is likely to be released in the spring of 2024.
