Like the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro: Samsung's Galaxy S24 flagships will get 7 years of updates
Samsung will officially unveil its new Galaxy S24 flagships as early as next week, on 17 January. In the meantime, Android Headlines has obtained promo images of the smartphones and some information about the specifications.
Here's What We Know
Many data are already known thanks to previous leaks. But the most interesting is the support information. It looks like Samsung has decided to follow in Google's footsteps and use an update strategy like the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. This means that the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra will receive updates for 7 years. Presumably, they don't just mean security patches, but major updates to the Android operating system.
It's also clear from the leak that Samsung will focus on artificial intelligence and introduce new AI features that will help improve user interaction.
