Rumour: Xiaomi 14 Ultra will get two versions - one with an under-screen front camera and a regular one
With about 3 months left until the launch of Xiaomi 14 Ultra, more and more information about the Chinese company's top flagship is popping up on the internet.
Here's What We Know
Recently, a new model codenamed "Xiaomi Suiren" was spotted on Geekbench. GSMChina journalists found out that this codename belongs to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, just like the internal names "aurora" and "aurorapro".
According to the publication's findings, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have two versions. The internal codenames "Xiaomi Suiren" and "aurorapro" belong to one of these versions - it will feature an under-screen front camera. The second version of the flagship will get a regular selfie camera.
By the way, this technology is not new for Xiaomi. The company already has smartphones with a front camera hidden under the screen - for example, Xiaomi MIX 4, released back in 2021.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to be unveiled in April 2024.
