Rumour: iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will get 8GB RAM and Wi-Fi 6E support

Details about the iPhone 16 line of smartphones continue to emerge on the internet.

Here's What We Know

Chinese analyst Jeff Pu revealed that the base models of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus series will boast an increased amount of RAM. Instead of 6GB, the gadgets will get 8GB of RAM like the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Apart from this, Poo claims that both the new products will get support for the Wi-Fi 6E standard, which operates in the 6 GHz band. Wi-Fi 6E provides faster wireless speeds and reduces interference with compatible routers. Incidentally, in the current iPhone 15 lineup, only the Pro versions of the devices have Wi-Fi 6E support.
