Jeff Poo: iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will get Qualcomm's new Snapdragon X75 5G modem

Analyst of investment company Haitong International Securities Jeff Pu shared details about the top models of iPhone 16.

According to the analyst, Apple plans to install a new Qualcomm Snapdragon X75 5G modem in the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The modem made its debut in February last year. It features improved carrier aggregation and also offers faster 5G upload and download speeds compared to the X70 modem. It operates on sub-6GHz networks. In addition, the X75 boasts a 25 per cent smaller footprint and 20 per cent lower power consumption.
