Bloomberg: Apple Vision Pro is powered by an M2 chip with 10 GPU cores and 8 CPU cores
Bloomberg insider and journalist Mark Gurman revealed which version of the M2 chip the Apple Vision Pro helmet received.
Here's What We Know
According to the insider, the novelty runs on the top version of the SoC. We are talking about the M2 processor with 10 GPU cores and 8 CPU cores. The exact same chipset is installed in the current versions of MacBook Air 13 and MacBook Air 15. By the way, apart from the M2 processor, Apple Vision Pro also has an R1 chip that will process data from 12 cameras, 5 sensors and 6 microphones.

Apple plans to sell Vision Pro only in the US for now. You will be able to pre-order the novelty on 19 January, and sales of the device will begin on 2 February. The gadget will cost from $3499. In the base modification Vision Pro will get 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
