Apple Pencil 3 with Find My support found in iOS 17.4 beta files

Apple is preparing to release the next generation Apple Pencil.

This was revealed by our colleagues from 9to5Mac. The device was spotted in the beta files of iOS 17.4. According to the leak, the gadget will be released on the market with the name Apple Pencil 3. The device will boast support for the Find My service. That is, the novelty will be easy to find during loss or theft, like AirPods and AirTags.

Unfortunately, it is not yet clear whether the new Apple Pencil will be equipped with Ultra Wideband technology for accurate search or whether you will see on the map the last location of the device.

When We Can Expect It

The Apple Pencil will most likely be released alongside the new iPads this spring.
