Render of Nothing Phone (2a) turned out to be a fake

Earlier this week, a well-known insider @OnLeaks Nothing Phone (2) without Glyph backlight: an insider has revealed how the Nothing Phone (2a) will look like of the unannounced Nothing Phone (2a) smartphone. However, it turns out that this render is a fake.

@OnLeaks itself posted a retraction on social media and claimed that the render it published was erroneous.

According to early leaks, the Nothing Phone (2a) will look something like this:

As far as specifications are concerned, the smartphone will come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display at 120Hz. Apart from that, the device will get a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chip, a 50 MP main camera (Samsung GN9) + 50 MP (Samsung JN1) and a 32 MP front camera (Sony IMX615). The official announcement will take place at the end of February at MWC 2024.
