Leaked internal Samsung marketing materials have declassified all the Galaxy Fit 3 specs before the announcement
The instruction manual for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 fitness tracker has leaked online. Our colleagues at TheTechOutlook have gotten their hands on Samsung's official training and marketing materials for the Galaxy Fit 3, revealing all the details about the device.
As previously speculated, Samsung's Galaxy Fit 3 smart bracelet will feature a 1.6-inch sAMOLED display with a resolution of 256 x 402 pixels and a screen density of 302 PPI. The dimensions of the device will be 42.9 x 28.8 x 9.9 mm and the weight will be just 36.8 grams. As for the build, the display will be covered with 2.5D glass and the body will be made of aluminium.
The device will offer its users a fully touchscreen display and a side button. The tracker will offer 16MB of RAM and 256MB of storage. The smart bracelet also features IP68 and 5ATM ruggedness and water resistance. It also features a 208mAh battery that should last for 13 days. It also supports 101 workout modes and 6 auto-tracking modes. As we learned earlier, the device will come in three colour options - grey, silver and rose gold. The model also lacks an inbuilt speaker, GPS, NFC and Wi-Fi. The Galaxy Fit 3 will connect via Bluetooth v5.3
When it comes to health features, the device features a daily monitoring system that includes an activity and step tracker, a heart rate and stress tracker, and a new oxygen and blood cycle tracker. A continuous sleep monitoring system is also part of the device and includes features such as blood oxygen and snoring detection, sleep assessment and analysis, and a sleep coach. In addition to the aforementioned workout modes and auto-tracking, Galaxy Fit 3 users will be able to view both recent and past workouts on a connected phone.
Other improvements include the Galaxy Fit 3 being 46% wider and 10% thinner compared to the previous Galaxy Fit 2 model, with a more durable aluminium body. Eleven continuous/simultaneous monitoring modes and a more advanced sleep coach. Other improvements include new features such as fall detection, emergency SOS (you have to press the side button 5 times) and find my device (two-way operation).
More will be available to quickly answer calls or messages, backup and restore, and the ability to connect to a Samsung account. Smartphone camera control (available when paired with a Galaxy phone) and music player are also present.
The device will be presented in the near future.
