A new leak has revealed which RAM variants will be available in Sony Xperia 1 VI, Xperia 5 V and Xperia 10 VI
Sony is gearing up to launch its Xperia line of smartphones for 2024. At least three models are expected to debut this year: the Xperia 1 VI, Xperia 5 VI and Xperia 10 VI. Ahead of the launch, Sumahodigest shared a report that leaked the RAM configurations of these devices.
Here's What We Know
According to the leak, the Xperia 1 VI flagship will be available in 12GB and 16GB RAM configurations. The Xperia 5 VI will come with 8GB of RAM, while the Xperia 10 VI will be available with 6GB and 8GB of RAM.
Details about the Xperia 5 VI and 10 VI are scarce for now, but we already know some details about the upcoming flagship, particularly about its cameras. According to a previous rumour from @INSIDERSONY, all three cameras on the back of the Xperia 1 VI will feature 48-megapixel Exmor T sensors, which is the same sensor found on the main camera of the Xperia 1 V.
The main lens on the Xperia 1 VI will reportedly have a large f/1.4 aperture, 2x optical zoom and dual-phase autofocus. It is also expected to support 1080p video recording with electronic image stabilisation (EIS). The ultra-wide camera will have a focal length of 14-18mm and will feature autofocus. Meanwhile, the telephoto lens is said to offer 6x zoom, although it's worth noting that the 6x zoom is likely achieved by cropping the sensor, as the native optical zoom is set at 3x.
More details on the models are expected to emerge as we get closer to launch.
