Bigger than the Pixel Fold: Insider reveals what screens the Pixel Fold 2 will get
Details about Google's new foldable smartphone, the Pixel Fold 2, keep popping up on the internet.
Here's What We Know
Insider and founder of Display Supply Chain Consultants Ross Young shared information about the screens of the novelty. The gadget will get an 8.02" main display and a 6.29" external screen. For comparison, the current Pixel Fold model comes with 7.6" and 5.8" screens respectively. By the way, according to Young, the production of panels for the new model will start as early as next month.
The leaks on the Pixel Fold 2 don't have the display sizes right. 8.02" for the foldable display and 6.29" for the cover display. Panel production starts in April! It is coming.

As for other specifications of the Pixel Fold 2, it is known that the smartphone will be powered by a new Tensor G4 processor. In addition, the gadget will be equipped with 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 storage for 256 GB. The novelty will come with Android 15 operating system.
When We Can Expect It
Google is likely to show off the Pixel Fold 2 at the I/O 2024 conference, but the full-fledged release of the device will take place in autumn along with the Pixel 9 flagships.
