Officially: Xiaomi will unveil the first Redmi gaming smartphone later this month
After several weeks of rumors, Xiaomi has officially announced the release of a gaming smartphone under the Redmi brand.
What we know
The manufacturer has published a poster on the social network Weibo, from which we know it will be a range of such devices. The first device will be presented at the end of this month. The company has not yet announced the name of the new product.
If to believe the rumors, the smartphone will be powered by an eight-core processor MediaTek Dimensity 1200. Now such chip is installed only into Realme GT Neo. The phone is also expected with an OLED display with a small hole for the front camera, like Mi 11 and Redmi K40, a 5000 mAh battery with 65-watt charging and a price around $300-380. Outside of China, the smartphone may come out under the POCO brand.
