What a thing: Japan announced the release of a washing machine... for people (video)
Japanese technology company Science, which specializes in innovations for bathrooms and kitchens, is working on a washing machine, and not for clothes and linen, but for humans!
Details
Surprisingly, this idea is not new: back in 1970 at the Osaka Expo, Japanese electronics giant Sanyo Electric showed the "Ultrasonic Bath" - a washing machine for people that cleaned, massaged and dried people in a fully automated 15-minute cycle. This washer never became a commercial product, but now the company Science is ready to continue the development of Sanyo Electric.
The project, called Usoyaro, involves creating a device, the task of which is not only to clean the body, but also to create a comfortable therapeutic space for a person. Inside, it will be possible to relax in small bubbles, listen to soothing music and watch what is displayed on the surface of the water with a built-in display.
In addition, the machine will be equipped with various sensors and artificial intelligence, which will monitor the condition of the person inside and use the collected data to create the most comfortable atmosphere.
The Science team plans to create a human washing machine by 2024 and demonstrate it at the Osaka Expo in 2025.
