Microsoft has released an ugly Christmas jumper in the style of the famous wallpaper from Windows XP
The Christmas and New Year holidays are approaching, and that means it's time for Microsoft's traditional ugly jumper. In case anyone isn't aware, the company itself calls it ugly, and it really is.
Here's What We've Seen
Every year the pattern of the jumper changes. For example, last year the main character was the legendary Clippy, the Office assistant depicted as a paper clip. And this year, Microsoft paid homage to the "Bliss" wallpaper on Windows.
It's actually a real photo taken in 1996 in the Sonoma Valley. It shows a green hill, blue sky, and white clouds. Microsoft bought it back in 2000 and turned it into an iconic wallpaper after the launch of Windows XP in 2001.
The jumper is 55 per cent cotton and 45 per cent acrylic. It costs $69.99 and is on sale at the Xbox Gear Shop.
