Tesla has unveiled the new Model 3: new look and longer range

After several years of rumours and leaks, Tesla has revealed the updated Model 3 in Shanghai.

The novelty from the side resembles the current model, but at the same time, the electric car received a completely updated front and rear. The car has become even more minimalistic and at the same time a little aggressive. According to the manufacturer, the new Model 3 boasts improved aerodynamics. The car has become a little longer and higher.

Of course, the changes affected not only the appearance, but also the characteristics of the electric car. The base version of Model 3 is now able to drive 513 kilometres on the WLTP cycle. This model accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds. The Long Range version has a range of 629 kilometres and accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. As for the Perfomance model, it has been removed.

If we talk about the interior, it has also received changes. For example, the company has completely removed all physical buttons and switches. In addition, the car has received a backlit interior, a 15.4-inch centre screen with reduced frames and an audio system with 17 speakers, 2 subwoofers and 2 amplifiers.

When We Can Expect It

Sales of the new Model 3 will start in October this year. The car will appear in Europe and Asia.
