Tesla Gigafactory Shanghai had 13 months to produce its second million electric cars

Here's What We Know

Tesla Gigafactory Shanghai has produced 2 million electric cars in less than four years. The enterprise began operations on December 30, 2019. Now more than 50% of all Tesla cars that are sold outside the US are produced here.

The facility is producing Tesla Model 3 and Model Y electric cars. 33 months after the launch, the a millionth vehicle rolled off the assembly line. Tesla Gigafactory Shanghai managed to produce another 1 million vehicles in 13 months.
