Volvo has expanded its electric vehicle range with the introduction of the EM90, its first electric minivan.

The car received a backlit grille and new headlights, which resemble those in the EX90 electric SUV. The length of the minivan is 5206 mm, width - 2024 mm, and height - 1859 mm. As for the wheelbase, it is also not small - 3205 mm. The car comes with 19 or 20-inch wheel discs.
Inside, the Volvo EM90 has three rows of seats. The middle row boasts of ventilation, reclining seats and a 15.6-inch display for entertainment. It is integrated into the car's ceiling. Volvo says the middle row can be turned into a cinema, conference room or bedroom.
The EM90 comes with a 268 hp (200 kW) rear electric motor. This setup allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds. It is complemented by a 116 kWh battery from CATL. The car can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in less than 30 minutes. The claimed mileage is 738 kilometres (on the CLTC cycle). The minivan can power other cars and appliances.
