It's official: the redesigned Zeekr 001 electric car will debut on 27 February

Chinese premium electric car brand Zeekr (owned by Geely Automobile Holdings) is preparing to release an updated version of the 001.

According to the official invitation of the company, the novelty will be shown next week - 27 February. Ambasador of the electric car will be Chinese Formula 1 racer Zhou Guanyu.

The new version of the car will get an improved 95 kWh LFP battery pack and a new entry-level powertrain with 415 hp (instead of 272 hp). The AWD version will get 778bhp, which is 234bhp more than before. You should also expect minor visual changes in the updated version. For example, new front and rear bumpers, new paint options, as well as optional LiDAR.

By the way, Zeekr introduced the 001 model in 2021. Since then, the company has sold more than 152,000 cars.
