The day before Xiaomi announced the Redmi K70 Pro smartphone. It is not yet on sale, but Chinese specialists have published a video of disassembling the device into parts.

The authors of the video were able to take measurements of the brightness of the OLED display. This was emphasised as Xiaomi claimed a peak brightness of 4000 nits, which will be a record for another two weeks until the OnePlus 12 premieres. The screen brightness in the upcoming new product will be 4,500 nits.

The panel on organic LEDs in the Redmi K70 Pro failed to produce the claimed 4000 nits. The maximum value did not even exceed 3100 nits.

The screen in Redmi K70 Pro has a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone also received a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, three 50MP cameras and a 5000 mA*h battery with 120W fast charging. The novelty will go on sale in the coming days at a price starting from $465.
