Mario Kart Tour content support will end on 4 October
Mario Kart Tour is undoubtedly one of the most successful projects in mobile gaming from Nintendo. However, after four years of existence, the game is approaching the end of its life cycle.
Here's What We Know
Nintendo and DeNA have officially confirmed that the game will soon stop receiving new content. In messages in the game itself, it was announced that from October 4, Mario Kart Tour will no longer receive updates in the form of new tracks, maps, gliders, or drivers, although this does not mean that support for the game is completely stopped. Mario Kart Tour will continue to be active with updates to the tours in the future, but all of these updates will only contain content that was already available in previous versions.
Mario Kart Tour is one of several mobile games published by Nintendo that have seen support discontinued earlier than many expected, including titles such as Dr. Mario World and Dragalia Lost, among others. Similarly, Super Mario Run failed to meet Nintendo's expectations.
