Ubisoft has confirmed that after the release of Star Wars Outlaws action game, Massive Entertainment studio will take over development of The Division 3

Publisher Ubisoft published unexpected news about the future of The Division shooter series.

Here's What We Know

French developers reported that Massive Entertainment studio is preparing to develop the third part of The Division.

However, the full-fledged production of the game will begin only after the release of Star Wars Outlaws action, which is currently being handled by Massive. The sci-fi action game should be released in 2024, but this date is probably too optimistic.

The Division 3 development will be led by Julian Gerighty, the game director of Star Wars Outlaws.

No additional details about the new shooter Ubisoft does not reveal.
