In the story, Sonic and his friends go to the North Star Islands to fight Eggman, the hunter Tiger and the mysterious Trip.

Retaining the same feel as the classic Sonic the Hedgehog platformers, Sonic Superstars supports up to four-player co-op. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy Rose are all available to play and can use new emerald abilities like throwing a bunch of clones at your enemies, climbing waterfalls and more.
