Rockstar Games shares updated statistics on GTA V and RDR 2 sales

Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 continue to be the most popular projects of Rockstar Games, and although they were released a long time ago, they still topped the sales of the studio and its parent company Tale-Two Interactive in the last quarter of last year.

Here's What We Know

According to Take-Two's recent quarterly financial report, GTA V has sold 195 million copies worldwide as of 31 December 2023, which is 5 million more than in the previous quarter. The total sales of the GTA series as of today are 420 million copies.

Red Dead Redemption 2 also made progress, with 61 million copies sold worldwide as of 31 December, up 6 million from the end of the previous quarter. Sales of the Red Dead Redemption franchise increased to 86 million units from 81 million.

Rockstar Games is currently developing Grand Theft Auto 6, which is expected to be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series in 2025.
