Priority: Hagalaz, a board game based on the Mass Effect franchise, has been announced

The trend for board games based on popular franchises could not avoid such a famous video game as Mass Effect.

In 2024 the board game about the adventures of Commander Shepard and his comrades will be released.

Here's What We Know

Mass Effect the Board Game - Priority: Hagalaz is being created by Modiphius Entertainment, the creators of Fallout: The Roleplaying Game and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - The Adventure Game.

It is stated that it will be a complex co-operative game, designed for up to four people, which will retain all the main features of Mass Effect.

Mass Effect the Board Game - Priority: Hagalaz will feature an interesting and non-linear story and familiar characters.

The action of the game will start on the ship Normandy and will unfold during the events of Mass Effect 3. It will centre on Commander Shepard (male or female) and his companions Garrus, Liara, Tali and Wrex.

Shepard's team will travel to Hagalaz, where they must investigate a crashed research ship formerly belonging to the Cerberus organisation.

The Mass Effect - Priority: Hagalaz board game will be available for purchase both in retailers and online. Pre-orders will open closer to the game's release. It is noteworthy that the developers have not resorted to fundraising on Kickstarter and other crowdfunding platforms and most likely will not do so anymore.
