Balatro has become something of an unexpected small hit this year, even among other successful games like Palworld and Helldivers 2. Although it didn't reach their level of popularity, it attracted attention with a score of 90 on Metacritic. Developer LocalThunk intends to capitalise on this success by expanding its player base, starting with an iPhone port, as confirmed by iMore.
